Recipe provided by Lynn Gerstmann
A couple times a month a group of friends come together in our home for Bible Study, fellowship and Pot-Luck dinner.  We always look forward to the meals we share together because these are times of sharing of our life experiences, cares, concerns and victories and good food.  This is a recipe everyone loved – unanimously – and it fits my parameters of quick, easy and delicious.  Thanks Lynn for sharing your recipe!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz bottle creamy French salad dressing
  • 8 oz can whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 4 – 6 chicken breasts (I like the boneless, skinless)

 Directions

In a mixing bowl combine the French salad dressing, cranberry sauce and onion soup mix.  Stir together.

In a casserole baking dish place the chicken breasts and cover with the salad dressing, cranberry, onion soup mix.  Marinate 2 hours or overnight if you like.

Place in pre-heated 350 oven for 1 hour or cook in a slow cooker on low setting for 6 to 8 hours.

We served this with mashed potatoes and a fresh green salad – yummy!  Give this one a try, you’ll be happy you did, Enjoy!
